Mindfulness · Why mindful travel
What changes when you slow down.
A trek can be a list of places or a long stretch of attention. We think the second kind stays with you.

Walking slowly, you notice the villages and are noticed in return. Spending is spread across more lodges. Guides and porters work at a humane pace. The mountains are the same either way.
Mindful travel is also practical. Slower ascent is safer ascent, and rest days at monasteries acclimatise the body as well as any viewpoint.
